We need more games like Shenmue and Heavy Rain. Mature experiences designed for adults, not immature teens that like to play bang bang.

The vast majority of gamers both hardcore and casual are immature. Most mature adults wouldn't be caught dead playing video games. They would rather watch a movie or read a good book.

There is a whole untapped market for intelligent adults that don't like shooting people that no one is going after.

Lets be honest, the ps3 while it has more power than the ancient 360 is still old and current high end PC's make the console look rubbish in coimparrision.

Sony should not allow Microsoft a years head start again with the Xbox 720. They need to launch around the same time.

I wouldn't be surprised if the Xbox 720 was announced at this years E3. That said, I think it more likely that Microsoft will announce the thing at next E3 instead.

I can't wait to get my hands on some powerful hardware again!

Xbox 720 = 2012

On a side note, are you fed up with 'opinion pieces' on N4G?

Its supposed to be NEWS for gamers, not blogs for gamers!

Stop this trash!

We are playing the same games as we were 6 years ago.

Thats not good.

The problem is, there are a lot of noobs commenting here. Many are casual gamers PRETENDING to be real gamers. Others are so poor they fear the extra cost. The truth is, the 360 is SIX years old!

6 years!

The PS1 was replaced after 6 years.
The PS2 was replaced after 6 years.

People complained then too!
Noobs always will. There are many so-called 'gamers'posting here that only brought a 360 or a PS3 last year....

I'm ready for Next-Gen NOW!
A six year old console is clearly pushing it.

I'm tired of playing the same games with little to no improvement. Time for some more POWER!!!

Kinect might have saved the 360, but the Xbox had to sell its soul to do it.

ANOTHER one?

What is Lionhead, a Fable Factory or something?

A cup and all offers hundreds of hours of gameplay lol
Doesn't mean i want to play with one!

Homefront is crap.

Go back to last gen. FPS were better then.

Half-life 2 still holds the crown.

Put your hand up if like me, you are sick of war shooters?

I love the 360 controller. The worse thing about the PS3 for me is the 3 generation old pad.

I need offest analogue sticks and non slippery triggers.
I would pick one of these up, but batteries? NO!

Microsoft can make the 360 for less than Sony can make the PS3.

As soon as Sony cuts price, Microsoft will top them.

THQ has put our rubbish for years now. They should be bankrupt by now.

Blu-ray is only good for devs. They can fit there game on one disc. Blu-ray is no use to gamers.

Large hard drives are what gamers really want. Large hard drives allow us to instlal out games which is the best way to play.

I won't buy homefront or its sequel. Not interested in yet another shooter with lame grahics and short campaign.

5533d ago 7 agree7 disagreeView comment

Thats the difference between Sony and Microsoft. Sony are willing to take risks and grow the CORE market. Microsoft only want to grow the casual market.

Microsoft turned down heavy rain when david cage approached them. They showed no interest in a non shooter/racer.
